The Distribution Board, also known as Distribution Panel Board, an Electrical Distribution Board, or DB Box, is a crucial part of the electrical system responsible for managing and distributing electricity to various circuits across a building or institution. Modern design is seen in the Distribution Boards (DBs), many of which include side knockouts that increase cable and conduit entry flexibility. These pre-configured DBs include Neutral Links, Earth Links, Bus bars, and interconnecting wires to guarantee optimal performance and ease of use.
The DB is easy to hang or mount since the bottom two foundation holes are circular and the upper two foundation holes are of the critical kind. These DBs adapt to various applications with strategically placed knockouts that reduce severe wire bends and encourage effective cable management.
